The Symphonic and Concert Bands represent the main performing ensembles at Mt. Pleasant. Each spring, instrumental music students are auditioned for placement into one of the two groups. Each group meets as a regularly scheduled class during the school day.
Each group perform a minimum of three school concerts per year plus a performance at a music festival in the spring.

Tentatively: Thursday April 14-Sunday April 17 (Music Department Spring Trip) - Mandatory for all symphonic band members, strongly encouraged for all students.
