Chorus Audition Information and materials

The Choral Department at Mount Pleasant has a very rich and strong tradition of excellence over the years. The program is divided into 6 choral groups which are all open only by audition. To audition for a choral group at Mount Pleasant, please call Mr. Dean and make arrangements. The two largest choral groups are credit bearing course which meet during the school day. The Concert Choir are open to students in grades 9 - 12 and the Chorale is open to students in grades 10 - 12. Beginning this year there will also be a show choir which is also a credit bearing course and meets after school hours, a Gospel choir which will meet after school hours, and a Women’s and Men’s choir that will use some of the rehearsal time during the day. A student MUST be in Chorale or Concert Choir to be eligible to be in Women’s choir, Men’s choir or Gospel choir.

The Mount Pleasant High School Chorus Boosters meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Mount Pleasant High School Chorus Room. The dates of those meetings are: 9/1, 10/6, 11/3, 12/1, 1/5, 2/2, 3/2, 4/6, 5/4
